High fiber intake not only prevents cancer but helps get rid of obesity as well. Consumption of soy products also helps in reducing chances of prostate cancer. Tomatoes help in preventing cancer as they contain Lycopene which helps in stopping growth of the prostate gland. Doctors also suggest high intake of fruits and raw vegetables to shield from cancer. Fruits and vegetables provide high amounts of vitamins which help in fighting against diseases. Prostate cancer also spreads through heredity. Hence if anyone from your family has suffered from prostate cancer, it is better for you to always stay on guard and alert.
